Healthier drinks in the tuckshop

Most school tuckshops sell a range of drinks. Drinks can be sold on their own, or as part of a meal deal or combo.

Choosing the right drinks for your school can be tricky. The vast range of beverages on the market can be overwhelming. Many are high energy, with high sugar content and/or intense sweeteners added, and have very little or no nutritional benefit.

We’ve put together a simple fact sheet to help you determine which drinks to serve in your tuckshop.

This resource was developed as part of the Healthier Tuckshops program funded by the Queensland Government through Health and Wellbeing Queensland.
