There are some positive GREEN pasta meals made in the tuckshop alongside a range of green burgers, sushi, salads and wraps. However the main meals are competing with lower priced amber pies, sausage rolls and nuggets- reducing menu rating & profitability. Convenor reports intention to remove hello pandas as a red item- if remains on menu, rating will drop to 2. If school wishes to be fully compliant with revised Smart Choices guidelines- nuggets to be served with salad/vegetables. Reduced variety of amber snacks would also improve menu rating.
