Volunteer Management Course
This self-paced, online Volunteer Management course will help you develop a strategic approach for engaging volunteers in your school community.
We recommend you complete this course as a group where possible and invite ALL tuckshop staff, parent body members and school staff that manage volunteers.
What is covered in the course?
The course covers five modules and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, working through a Volunteer Action Plan as you progress. A Volunteer Induction Kit is also provided as part of the course fee.
Module 1 – Introduction and the Role of the Volunteer Coordinator
Module 2 – Planning for Volunteer Involvement
Module 3 – Volunteer Recognition and Support
Module 4 – Volunteer Support and Development
Module 5 – Volunteer Retention and Recognition
How much does the course cost?
QAST is offering this course primarily as a member benefit for Queensland schools, so course fees are heavily subsidised and significantly less than other courses delivered face to face. This course is available to QAST members and non-members.
Cost: $50 (inc. GST).
