What do our members say about our Tuckshop Tuneup service?
"We loved that it was a space where both parties felt welcomed and like they were contributing to the common good of the tuckshop space. We appreciated the info before the meeting, during and post! It helps to ease the anxiety of inviting others into the workspace. We really valued having QAST out to do the Tuckshop Tuneup. We have made changes to our menu, and I’ve spent the holidays between relaxing and recharging beginning the development of the policies and procedures. I feel now that the QAST team have been out it makes it easier to reach out as we have that connection already built! Thank you again for all you do to make our jobs easier."
Tanya, Birkdale South State School
"Following our Tuckshop Tuneup last year we employed a new manager and assistant and have seen a huge increase in sales and customers! We have purchased slow cookers, rice cookers, a new sandwich press and cookware. Our manager (who is a qualified chef) has overhauled our tuckshop and is cooking fresh meals like butter chicken and rice, spiral pasta bolognaise, quiche, Caesar salads and wraps, fresh salads, banana bread, healthy bliss balls and more, and we have updated our menu with new additions each term. More staff than ever order tuckshop for their lunches almost every day which was a goal of ours to provide nutritious and convenient options for school staff. We have added new suppliers and implemented processes and procedures following the recommendations of the tune-up report. Overall, we are very happy that we got expert advice to improve our tuckshop operations."
Nikita, Frenchville State School P&C Association President
"Big thanks to the QAST team! I really appreciated the time, the format, and the approach of the Tuckshop Tuneup. The process was transparent and engaging for all parties, even when dealing with difficult news. The recommendations were reflective of the priorities for our tuckshop and the report will give our P&C a lot of food for thought for discussion."
Adam, Millmerran State School P&C Association President
