NEW: Tuckshop Management Course

We are extremely excited to announce the launch of our NEW training course – the Tuckshop Management Course – a comprehensive course we encourage all tuckshop staff to complete. Learn more about it below!

For many years, QAST has run two separate courses for tuckshop staff – the Convenor Course and the Pathway to Profit Course.

After taking on feedback from course participants, and recognising the overlap and value of completing both courses, we have now rolled them both into one to develop our new Tuckshop Management Course.

This course is suitable for tuckshop staff who are looking to gain the skills and confidence to run a successful, profitable and sustainable tuckshop.

The course dives into five key modules:

  1. Goals, policies and managing stock
  2. Menu planning
  3. Financials – Costing, pricing and mark-up
  4. Organising your tuckshop/canteen
  5. Working with your community.

We’re excited to be kicking off our first round of courses in Term 3 and we would love to see as many tuckshop staff involved as possible.
