We’re excited to announce that we’re coming to Cairns in Week 6, Term 1, 2026.
While in town, we’ll be running a face-to-face Tuckshop Management Course, as well as a Healthier Tuckshops Network Meeting.
We also have some availability for a Tuckshop Tuneup for any schools interested in a full review of their tuckshop service.

Tuckshop Management Course
Our Tuckshop Management Course covers everything you need to know to run an efficient and profitable tuckshop business.
This is your chance to get in a room with us and other local tuckshop managers as we cover everything from policies and procedures to menu planning, costing, pricing and markup, as well as marketing and working with your school community.
This course isn’t just for new convenors… it’s the perfect chance for you to brush up on your knowledge, develop your management skills and learn how to make your tuckshop thrive.
Note: No assessment is required for the course. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the day.
Healthier Tuckshops Networking Afternoon
Join the QAST team (Naomi and Chrissy) for an afternoon of sharing and connecting with other local tuckshop staff and supporters.
Come along to:
- Learn practical tips for healthier menus
- Ask questions and share your own experiences.
