Burger in a Blanket
500gLean beef mince
1Small onion, grated
1Apple, peeled and grated
1Large carrot, peeled and grated
2tbspChicken stock powder, salt reduced
4Mountain bread wraps
- Mix the beef, vegetables, sauces and stock and parsley together well.
- For each wrap, place mixture along the long edge and wrap into a sausage roll shape.
- Cut in half and place on a wire rack on a baking tray lined with paper.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180 degrees C for about 25 minutes.
Lean beef and vegetables wrapped in mountain bread, topped with cheeses and baked fresh in the oven. Great healthy sausage roll alternative.
