500gLean beef mince
1Small onion, grated
1Apple, peeled and grated
1Large carrot, peeled and grated
1Egg
2tbspTomato sauce
2tbspWorcestershire sauce
2tbspChicken stock powder, salt reduced
2tbspParsley, choppped
4Mountain bread wraps

Method

  1. Mix the beef, vegetables, sauces and stock and parsley together well.
  2. For each wrap, place mixture along the long edge and wrap into a sausage roll shape.
  3. Cut in half and place on a wire rack on a baking tray lined with paper.
  4. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180 degrees C for about 25 minutes.
