1eaHard boiled egg
2eaCelery or carrots sticks
2 leavesCrunchy Lettuce sliced
- Add a thick piece of a strong flavoured cheese.
- Pickles (try Branston pickles and some pickled onions).
- A chunk of crusty bread
- Plus one or more of the following:A cooked chicken leg,Slices of ham,Hard boiled egg.
- Plus:Cherry tomatoes.
- Celery or carrot sticks.
- Apple slices.
- Crunchy lettuce.
This is an old fashioned favourite that can be a nice surprise when catering next or is great for student excursions, sports days and meal deals.
A nice grainy mustard could also be included. Add a frozen popper or bottled water for a complete excursion pack which will also keep the lunches cool in an eski.
