Vegemite and Cheese Muffins

120gCheese, low fat grated
2cupWholewheat flour, self-raising
1cupMilk, low fat
- Preheat oven to 180c
- Set aside 2 tablespoons of cheese to put on top of the muffins later. Add flour and the rest of the cheese to a bowl. In another bowl add milk, egg, melted butter and vegemite and whip until well combined then pour over flour and cheese mixture and mix well.
- Spoon into greased muffin trays and sprinkle with cheese
- Bake for 13 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
Quick and easy savoury muffins
These muffins can be frozen. The tip for serving is to thaw thoroughly and pop them in the oven for a few minutes to refresh.
