120gCheese, low fat grated
2cupWholewheat flour, self-raising
1cupMilk, low fat
75gMargarine
4tbspVegemite
1Egg

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180c
  2. Set aside 2 tablespoons of cheese to put on top of the muffins later. Add flour and the rest of the cheese to a bowl. In another bowl add milk, egg, melted butter and vegemite and whip until well combined then pour over flour and cheese mixture and mix well.
  3. Spoon into greased muffin trays and sprinkle with cheese
  4. Bake for 13 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
