Ingredients

1Kgbeef mince
2onion
2carrot`

200gcheese grated
800gchopped tomatoes
420gcorn kernals
500gDried lasagne Sheets
2tbspspray oil
2tbspolive oil
2tbspmargarine
2tbsptomato paste
1tbspvegemite
1tbspmixed herbs
3bay leaf
1cupskim milk powder
1/2cupplain flour

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Dice onion, carrot and capsicum
  3. Heat pan, added oil Fry onion until clear
  4. Add mince and fry until brown
  5. Once mince is brown add tomato paste, tinned tomato, carrot, capsicum, vegemite, corn kernels, mixed herbs and stir
  6. Add bay leaf. Leave to simmer
  7. Mix through and turn heat down
  8. White Sauce:Mix up skim milk powder with water
  9. While lasagne mix is simmering placed second pot on adjacent burner, add oil and margarine
  10. Once margarine has melted add flour and mix
  11. Add milk slowly, mixing through thoroughly to give the mixture a smoother texture
  12. Once mixed through add cheese and continue to stir until cheese has melted through the white sauce
  13. Spray large baking bowl with oil and layer ingredients
  14. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted golden brown
  15. Portion into ten serving containers
