Ingredients

1kgbeef mince
2eachonion
1kgFrozen Mixed vegetables
800gLong grain rice
2tbspOlive oil
2tbspgravy mix
2tbspWorcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Heat pan and spray with oil
  2. Add onion, garlic, ginger and any diced raw vegetables that you are using. Cook 3 minutes until onion and vegetables are soft.
  3. Add mince. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up mince for 8-10minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in gravy mix and simmer, stirring occasionally until sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, grated carrot (if using) and any frozen vegetables.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  7. Cook rice as per packet instructions
  8. Serve in square foil or compostible containers
