1kglean beef mince
420gcan of lentils
2 x 500gjars of Dolmio Bolognese Pasta Sauce
50gtomato paste
4pinchessalt
2carrots, grated
2zucchini, grated
1red apple, peel, cored and grated
500gSpiral pasta
100greduced-fat cheese, grated
Method
- Using a large slow cooker, allowing for a cook time of around 3 hours, combine, stir well and cook together mince, lentils, sauce, tomato paste, salt, and grated vegies and apple.
- When the Bolognese sauce is thoroughly cooked, cook pasta in salted water
- Mix pasta with Bolognese mixture in a very large bowl and divide into containers. Sprinkle with cheese before putting lid on to either serve or freeze for future service.

Variations
Can be frozen in containers. Defrost overnight or in microwave before heating in pie warmer at 160 C.
