Ingredients

1KgLean beef strips
1unitRed capsicum
1unitBrown onion, large
2unitCarrot
1cupGreen beans, halved
300gThai sauce base
6cupRice, cooked (to serve)

Method

  1. Brown the strips of beef in a hot wok or pan with a little vegetable oil.
  2. Add chopped onion and carrot and cook until just tender.
  3. Add sauce base, capsicum and beans.
  4. Cook through over high heat for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with 1/2 cup rice in a takeaway container.

Variations

Can be frozen in individual portions, then defrosted and heated in the microwave to serve. Chicken breast, lean pork or lamb may be used in place of beef.
