Ingredients

4kglean beef mince
5mediumcarrots, grated
5mediumzucchinis, grated
2largeonions, peeled and grated
8eggs
3cupsbreadcrumbs
1/4cuppowdered beef stock
1cupsalt-reduced tomato sauce
1/4tspsalt
1/4tspsugar

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together with your hands until well combined.
  2. Line 5 trays with baking paper and pre-heat oven to 165 degrees celcius.
  3. Weigh patties at 120g, press in burger press, place on tray. Repeat for each pattie (approx 50 serves).
  4. Place trays in oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Cool, wrap in foil or place in air tight container, divided with baking paper. Freeze immediately.
  6. To re-heat, place in oven from frozen (still in foil) for 25-30 mins at 165 degrees celcius.

Variations

Patties can be frozen for up to a month. Use the Avanti Non Stick Single Burger Press to make the patties.
