QAST’s Recipe of the Year competition is delivered through the Healthier Tuckshops Program, funded by the Queensland Government through Health and Wellbeing Queensland. The annual competition showcases delicious, nutritious and practical recipes created for Queensland school tuckshops.
In 2026, we once again celebrated the creativity, dedication and ingenuity of tuckshop teams across the state. These resourceful convenors turn everyday ingredients into meals students love, often while working with limited time, equipment, space and resources.
